Website Colors for Engineers
One of the tasks I struggle with the most when doing a design is figuring out where and how to apply a color palette to a design. You’ll find sites like Adobe Kuler which are great for finding complementary colors or working your way through color theory, but that’s only one small part of the puzzle.
I found this article “A Simple Web Developers Guide to Color” to be very helpful in figuring out how to apply base and accent colors. Just like the Material Design guidelines, color does not have to be complex to be effective.
